Global Warming Is Good

I can't believe the environmental movement has been able to convince Governments and Business, that relying on 40 to 50 years of somewhat reliable data statistical inference on shoddy data for the another 70 years and then complete guesswork for the last 1,500 and then completely ignoring the other what, 4 billion years for data to input in their computer models.

Said models are then "tailored" to come up with scenarios for climate change. Then the upper boundries of this flawed analysis are released to the press. Garbage in Garbage Out.

The people behind this effort hate mankind and feel the earth is fundamentally better with fewer (like billions) people, because earth is a value independent of mankind, sort of like the Christians and God.

On top of all this, no one talks about the unabashed benefits of warming: more crops equals more food equals more people equals more minds (as Julian Simon says the ultimate natural resource) able to solve real as opposed to imaginary problems, like cancer. Of course since environmentalists hate people they don't discuss this and to get around the more people issue they propose plunging millions in to destitution and darkness leaving them subject to disease conquered long ago. For an example of this see the elimination of DDT where on false evidence by Rachel Carson alleging thin bird eggs this substance was banned. As a result, countries that had not eradicated large mosquito populations (or continents like africa) have seen millions die from a curable disease.

Hezbollah and The Broken Window Fallacy (sort of)

It is amazing to me how the entire world can look at Hezbollah and say "isn't that nice that Hezbollah are rebuilding everyone's house who were destroyed by the evil Israelis?". How can these people forget who was responsible for the destruction that ruined these homes in the first place? It is difficult to believe that all of them can be thankful for Hezbollah for destroying and then rebuilding their neighborhoods. However, I see written everywhere that doing this will only make Hezbollah more popular and even stronger with the "shia community" (as if they are all one robotic body acting in sync) and general "arab street".

This seems to be just like the economist who claims that economic growth is achieved when thugs break a shopkeepers window and it is replaced. In this case the thugs caused the Israelis (acting properly in their own self defense) to destroy the homes and poof! instant popularity for the Hezbollah. Brilliant!
